PFLAG National Partners on the film “Becoming Johanna” for TDOV on 3/30

Join us for a live Q & A with the creative team and star of Becoming Johanna. We'll be live on Facebook and YouTube on Tuesday, March 30th--the day before Transgender Day of Visbility (TDOV)--at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT. We'll be joined by the film's star, Johanna Clearwater, director Jonathan Skurnik, and Joel Baum, Senior Director, Professional Development at Gender Spectrum.

Becoming Johanna is a compelling story that follows the struggles transgender teens face every day. In the end, Johanna refuses to let her mother’s rejection define her life. She finds a foster family who loves her and a supportive school principal who helps her to graduate and thrive.

PFLAG National is proud to partner in bringing this film to the PFLAG Chapter Network for Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) on March 31st and, later this year, to millions of households across the country on PBS.

Here are the chapters presenting TDOV programming using the film Become Johanna. Contact each chapter directly regarding their calendar of events. Join a chapter event to watch the film, then join us live on March 30th for our Q&A!
